A truffle ceremony is not trauma treatment. Some people who feel stuck in old pain do look for a safe, guided day to feel what's there. At Stars Frequencies in Amsterdam you start with a free 30-minute intro call, in which Rosa looks honestly with you at whether a ceremony fits right now.
Something happened, long ago or not so long ago. You've talked about it, maybe a lot. You understand it. And still your body reacts as if it's happening now: you startle, you shut down, you keep your distance.
Old pain often lives not only in your memory, but also in how you breathe, how you sleep and how close you let people come. Talking doesn't always reach that.
So some people look for a guided experience in which the body gets more room, alongside their sessions with a psychologist. A ceremony doesn't replace that support. If you're still in the middle of processing, you need a trauma specialist first.
Letting go isn't a condition. It's a result. If you've been through pain, you've learned to stay on guard. That isn't a mistake, it was needed. Here you don't have to give up that watchfulness all at once.
Which health situations rule a ceremony out, you can read on the page about safety and contraindications.
You arrive calmly. Rosa leads the meditation and plays the singing bowls live in the room. Your mind gets something to follow and your body can settle. Meditation and sound healing are part of every ceremony, private and duo ceremonies too. You don't have to let go of anything before you're ready.
For people who are on guard, everything starts with safety in the body. So there's no rush. Rosa leads the meditation, the singing bowls sound softly through the room and you decide how close you let anything come. Your body can first notice that it's calm here.
A difficult moment can happen. You're not alone with it. Rosa stays in the room for the whole ceremony and there is always an emergency protocol. You can talk, move and ask Rosa to come and sit beside you. Difficult moments are part of it; they're not a sign that something is going wrong.
Something from the past may come up: an image, a feeling, sometimes just tension without a story. Rosa then comes to sit with you, helps you feel your breath and your body, and reminds you where you are now. You don't have to relive anything you don't want to.
“At the hardest moment, Rosa stayed beside me.”
Every ceremony starts with a free 30-minute intro call. Rosa asks about your medication, your health and what feels scary to you. If a ceremony doesn't fit right now, she honestly says no. The amount is tailored to you together in the intro call.
In the intro call Rosa asks about your support, your medication and how stable you feel right now. Sometimes the answer is that a ceremony isn't responsible at the moment. She tells you that honestly, and advises you to continue with your psychologist first.
“The intro call put me at ease right away.”
Participants' own words. Everyone experiences the day differently; this is not a promise.
“The feelings were very intense: from very sad to very happy.”
That depends on where you are right now. A truffle ceremony is not trauma treatment. For some people who are stable and already have support, a guided day can give room to feel what's there. For others it comes too early. That's why Rosa always discusses it first in the intro call.
You don't lose consciousness: you know where you are, you can talk, move and ask Rosa to come and sit beside you. For people who carry old pain, letting go on command is often the hardest part. So we don't ask for it. Meditation and sound healing give your body something to rest on, and Rosa stays in the room for the whole ceremony. Letting go isn't a condition here. If it happens, it's a result.
No. In the intro call you tell Rosa what she needs to know to guide you safely. During the ceremony you don't have to explain anything. If you want to share something, you can. If you want to be quiet, that's fine too.
That can happen. Rosa stays in the room for the whole ceremony and comes to you if you want her to. She helps you come back into your body and into the here and now. After the ceremony there's time to share and to land before you go home.
A group ceremony costs €295 per person, with up to 8 participants. A private ceremony costs €495; if you come as two, you pay €891 together. The day lasts about 7 hours and always includes meditation and sound healing. You start with a free 30-minute intro call.
A ceremony is not a replacement for medical or psychological care.
