Truffle ceremony and the inner child: for people stuck in old childhood patterns

A truffle ceremony at Stars Frequencies is a guided day of about 7 hours in Amsterdam, for people who notice that old childhood patterns still play along and want room for that. It isn't a treatment. Rosa guides you in a small group of up to 8 people (€295 per person) or privately (€495), after a free 30-minute intro call.

Truffle ceremony and the inner child: old patterns in an adult life

You're an adult. You've built a life. And still you sometimes react like the child you were. Someone is curt and you suddenly feel small. Someone is disappointed and you immediately start trying harder.

The inner child isn't a spiritual idea. It's a way of saying: what you learned back then to feel safe still plays along. Pleasing, being strong, not standing out, doing everything yourself.

Some people look for a guided experience in which they can not only understand that younger part of themselves, but also feel it.

What people often recognise

  • You sometimes react more strongly than the situation calls for
  • You do everything to avoid disappointing others
  • You find it hard to ask for help
  • Playing or simply having fun feels unfamiliar
  • You know where it comes from, but it keeps returning
The point of view

Letting go isn't a condition. It's a result. The child you were learned to pay attention. It doesn't have to unlearn that today. Here you start with landing, and the rest can move at its own pace.

Who is a truffle ceremony for inner child work for, and who isn't it for?

A good fit if

  • You recognise old childhood patterns and want to feel them, not just understand them
  • You feel stable enough in your daily life
  • You want plenty of attention, in a small group or privately

Not a good fit if

  • Your childhood was so unsafe that thinking back already overwhelms you: work with a psychologist first
  • You're looking for a quick way to close the book on the past

How the day begins

Landing in your body, without commands

You arrive calmly. Rosa leads the meditation and plays the singing bowls live in the room. Your mind gets something to follow and your body can settle. Meditation and sound healing are part of every ceremony, private and duo ceremonies too. You don't have to let go of anything before you're ready.

The younger part of you doesn't come out when it doesn't feel safe. So the day starts calmly. Rosa leads the meditation and the singing bowls sound softly. Your body can first notice that nobody expects anything from you.

When it gets intense

What Rosa does when it gets heavy during the ceremony

A difficult moment can happen. You're not alone with it. Rosa stays in the room for the whole ceremony and there is always an emergency protocol. You can talk, move and ask Rosa to come and sit beside you. Difficult moments are part of it; they're not a sign that something is going wrong.

Memories or feelings from the past may come up: sadness, loneliness, sometimes joy too. Rosa comes to sit with you if you want, helps you feel that you're safe here and now, and stays in the room for as long as the ceremony runs.

“At the hardest moment, Rosa stayed beside me.”

Beforehand

Intro call and screening: a conversation first

Every ceremony starts with a free 30-minute intro call. Rosa asks about your medication, your health and what feels scary to you. If a ceremony doesn't fit right now, she honestly says no. The amount is tailored to you together in the intro call.

In the intro call you share as much about your childhood as you want. Rosa also asks about support, health and medication. If she notices a ceremony would be too much right now, she tells you honestly.

“The intro call put me at ease right away.”

Questions

Questions about a truffle ceremony and the inner child

What does inner child mean during a truffle ceremony?

By inner child we mean the part of you that still reacts the way you learned as a child. During a ceremony, some participants describe feeling that younger part instead of thinking about it. That's an experience, not a promise. What you experience differs per person.

What if I lose control during the ceremony?

You don't lose consciousness: you know where you are, you can talk, move and ask Rosa to come and sit beside you. For people who learned to be strong as a child, letting go on command is often the hardest part. So we don't ask for it. Meditation and sound healing give your body something to rest on, and Rosa stays in the room for the whole ceremony. Letting go isn't a condition here. If it happens, it's a result.

Do I have to bring up memories?

No. You don't have to retrieve or tell anything. Whatever comes, comes. Sometimes that's images from the past, sometimes just a feeling. Rosa doesn't steer you towards a memory.

What if something from the past comes up that I don't want to feel?

You decide how far you go. Rosa stays in the room for the whole ceremony, comes to you if you ask and helps you come back into your body and the here and now. After the ceremony there's time to share and to land.

What does a truffle ceremony at Stars Frequencies cost, and how long is the day?

A group ceremony costs €295 per person, with up to 8 participants. A private ceremony costs €495; if you come as two, you pay €891 together. The day lasts about 7 hours and always includes meditation and sound healing. You start with a free 30-minute intro call.

A ceremony is not a replacement for medical or psychological care.
