From Rotterdam Centraal the Intercity direct is the fastest option. You change to the sprinter at Schiphol and reach Amsterdam Centraal in about 44 minutes. If you would rather not change, the regular intercity via The Hague and Leiden takes about 74 minutes, but you stay seated the whole way.

In Rotterdam you run into people you know everywhere. A ceremony in another city gives you distance: for a day you are not the colleague, the parent or the friend who sorts everything out. For some people that makes it easier to feel honestly what is there.
Stars Frequencies works with a small group of up to 8 people, or privately. About half of the participants are new to this, so you won't be the only first-timer.
The day lasts about 7 hours, with a meal at the end. Then get picked up or take the train: you don't drive yourself on the day of the ceremony. By train you are back in Rotterdam in the early evening.
