A gentle entry
What is a cacao ceremony?
A cacao ceremony is a conscious ritual in which you drink pure ceremonial cacao with an intention. A meditation follows, and you lie down or sit while Rosa plays the singing bowls. You stay clear and aware of what's around you. People describe it as warm, calm and connecting. Cacao has been used in ceremonies for centuries, including in Central America. Today people choose it as a calm moment for themselves, as a first taste of ceremonial work, or as a daily ritual at home.
Why people choose this
What people describe after a cacao ceremony
Warmth
Many participants mention warmth in the chest and gentleness towards themselves. One participant wrote that the cacao felt like a heart opener. It's an experience, not a promise: everyone notices something different.
A quieter mind
People who live a lot in their head describe their thoughts becoming less loud. The form helps too: you drink slowly, set an intention, and then there is sound to follow.
Relaxation
During the sound healing you lie still and listen. Participants say they felt tension drop that they hadn't even noticed, until things got calmer.
Gentle connection
You stay clear and in charge. For anyone not ready for a truffle ceremony, or who prefers to start small, cacao is a gentle step. You connect head and feeling without having to let go of anything.

Safety
Is a cacao ceremony safe?
Ceremonial cacao is well tolerated by most people. Take care with serious heart conditions, MAO inhibitors or certain antidepressants, and pregnancy. There is no intro call or screening before a cacao ceremony, so check this yourself. If in doubt, check with your doctor. A ceremony is not a replacement for medical or psychological care.
