Truffle ceremony for emotions, for people who feel stuck in their head

A truffle ceremony at Stars Frequencies is a guided day of about 7 hours in Amsterdam, for people who know a lot about themselves but feel little. You don't have to let go on command: Rosa guides you in a small group of up to 8 people (€295 per person) or privately (€495), with meditation and live singing bowls as a fixed part of the day. You start with a free 30-minute intro call.

A truffle ceremony for emotions, when you live in your head

You can explain your feelings well. You've read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe talked for years. You know where it comes from. And still it stays at knowing.

Feeling is harder. At a funeral you stand calmly next to everyone who is crying. When someone asks how you really are, you give a good answer instead of an honest feeling. Your mind is quick, reliable and always on. It has taken you far. But it lets little through.

Many people who come to Rosa describe exactly this. They aren't looking for a thrill or a spectacle. They want to feel again what sits underneath all that thinking.

What people often recognise

  • You analyse your feelings instead of feeling them
  • Crying doesn't happen, even when you'd like it to
  • Your mind stays on, even when you relax
  • You're afraid of losing control if you let go
  • People see you as strong and level-headed, you mostly feel flat
The point of view

Letting go isn't a condition. It's a result. People who live in their head are often told to surrender. That rarely works on command. So we don't ask for it. We help you land first, and see what happens then.

Who is a truffle ceremony for emotions for, and who isn't it for?

A good fit if

  • You live in your head a lot and want to reconnect with your feelings
  • You're curious, but also afraid of losing control
  • You want to start calmly, in a small group or privately

Not a good fit if

  • You're mainly looking for an exciting experience or a thrill
  • You're in the middle of an acute crisis: then your GP is the first step

Which health situations rule a ceremony out, you can read on the page about safety and contraindications.

How the day begins

Landing in your body, without commands

You arrive calmly. Rosa leads the meditation and plays the singing bowls live in the room. Your mind gets something to follow and your body can settle. Meditation and sound healing are part of every ceremony, private and duo ceremonies too. You don't have to let go of anything before you're ready.

For people who think a lot, this is the most important part of the day. Your mind gets something to follow: Rosa's voice, the sound of the bowls. Meanwhile your body can settle. Nobody asks you to feel anything. If something comes, that's enough. If nothing comes, that's enough too.

When it gets intense

What Rosa does when it gets heavy during the ceremony

A difficult moment can happen. You're not alone with it. Rosa stays in the room for the whole ceremony and there is always an emergency protocol. You can talk, move and ask Rosa to come and sit beside you. Difficult moments are part of it; they're not a sign that something is going wrong.

Sometimes a lot comes at once: tears, anger, a memory you had forgotten. That can feel overwhelming for someone used to understanding everything. Rosa helps you not to have to explain it. You can let it happen, with her nearby.

“At the hardest moment, Rosa stayed beside me.”

Beforehand

Intro call and screening: a conversation first

Every ceremony starts with a free 30-minute intro call. Rosa asks about your medication, your health and what feels scary to you. If a ceremony doesn't fit right now, she honestly says no. The amount is tailored to you together in the intro call.

In the intro call you tell Rosa where you feel stuck. Many people say out loud for the first time that they're afraid of losing control. That isn't a reason not to take part. It's exactly what Rosa shapes the day around.

“The intro call put me at ease right away.”

Experiences

What participants describe

Participants' own words. Everyone experiences the day differently; this is not a promise.

“I went in with the intention to let go, to do less from my head and to sink more into my feeling. From the start I felt the space and the trust to really let happen whatever wanted to happen.”
Jochem · website review, translated from Dutch
“In the end I took the step anyway, because I finally wanted to feel again instead of only thinking. I had been in my head for so long that I no longer knew what was underneath.”
Daniel · website review, translated from Dutch
“I see myself as a fighter, a tough person who doesn't open up easily, certainly not when others are around. So this was really something new to learn.”

Questions

Questions about a truffle ceremony and emotions

Can a truffle ceremony help me feel emotions when I live in my head?

Many participants come for exactly this: they know a lot about themselves, but feel little. A truffle ceremony doesn't promise that you'll feel something. What participants do describe is that there was room for feeling once they no longer had to steer. At Stars Frequencies you start with meditation and sound healing, so your mind can quiet down before anything is asked of you.

What if I lose control during the ceremony?

You don't lose consciousness: you know where you are, you can talk, move and ask Rosa to come and sit beside you. For people who live in their head a lot, letting go on command is often the hardest part. So we don't ask for it. Meditation and sound healing give your body something to rest on, and Rosa stays in the room for the whole ceremony. Letting go isn't a condition here. If it happens, it's a result.

What if I don't feel anything during the ceremony?

That can happen, and it isn't a failure. Some participants mainly notice calm, others only notice in the days after that something has shifted. Rosa doesn't ask you to achieve anything. Whatever you experience can be as small or as big as it is.

Do I need experience with ceremonies or meditation?

No. About half of the participants are doing it for the first time. No experience needed. Rosa explains how the day works in the intro call, and on the day itself you're guided step by step.

What does a truffle ceremony at Stars Frequencies cost, and how long is the day?

A group ceremony costs €295 per person, with up to 8 participants. A private ceremony costs €495; if you come as two, you pay €891 together. The day lasts about 7 hours and always includes meditation and sound healing. You start with a free 30-minute intro call.

A ceremony is not a replacement for medical or psychological care.
